Our Technology
Kristonium™
Kristonium™, invented by Accelovant, resolves long-standing performance, reliability, and durability issues found in fiber-optic temperature sensors. Kristonium™ is a ceramic-like material system and is the photo-luminescent active sensor component in Accelovant devices. In operation, Kristonium™ is a solid-state material system that emits light energy in a controllable and predictable pattern under wide temperatures. Similar to the way solid state transistors replaced vacuum tubes in the 1960s, Kristonium™ eliminates the fragile, adhesive-intensive phosphor materials used in sensors. Because Kristonium™ is mechanically robust, and is extremely stable at elevated temperatures, it is ideal for applications where durability and long service life are important.
Controls Technology
Accelovant’s electro-optic signal conversion technology brings the price-performance advancements you need.
Modular Architecture: Accelovant’s modular architecture allows for scalability from 1 to 96 channels.
Fault-tolerant controls with built-in redundancy virtually eliminates the probability of key component failure.
Sensor Technology
Accelovant sensors incorporate advanced materials that are mechanically durable, and chemically resistant to contamination effects in demanding use-cases. Sensors can be configured for different applications and easily customized where needed. Sensor components are interchangeable and field serviceable to reduce cost and lead time. Accelovant technology is protected by patents and patent pending applications that are referenced here.
